Módulo para solicitudes de gammagrafía ósea en pacientes con cáncer
Resumen / Abstract
Se reporta la aplicación de un software que permite registrar con datos completos y pertinentes del paciente, la solicitud para la realización de los exámenes de gammagrafía ósea, con la finalidad que cada información sea consultada adecuadamente y el paciente sea atendido con eficiencia en los servicios de medicina nuclear. La gammagrafía ósea es un estudio de uso frecuente que permite diagnosticar la existencia de un cáncer primario, dirigir un estudio para biopsia o reportar la diseminación de un cáncer conocido al hueso (metástasis ósea). El software diseñado completa los datos que remite el médico tratante y le sirve de soporte a todo el equipo de salud que atiende al paciente. This paper reports application of software enabling complete register of patient data, for delivering appropriate information in bone scan reports. Bone scan is a frequent study in Nuclear Medicine, which enables physicians to diagnose a primary bone cancer or metastases. The software was designed in order to complete data given by oncologists and constitutes an aid for the health team attending patients.
