Pruebas tipo realizadas a un sistema de dosimetría personal según la norma IEC 61066

Abstract

En el presente estudio se realizó la verificación del sistema de dosimetría personal Harshaw TLD 6600 PLUS usando el método de las pruebas tipo IEC-61066 y las recomendaciones de las normas ISO 4037, para ello se irradiaron 5 dosímetros sobre fantoma de agua usando un irradiador que contenía una fuente de Cs-137, también se usaron 5 dosímetros como testigo. Los parámetros evaluados fueron homogeneidad, límite de detección, lectura residual, linealidad, reproducibilidad, caídas, cambio de temperatura y humedad. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que el sistema de dosimetría TLD Harshaw 6600 Plus cumple con los criterios de exigencia de la norma IEC 61066.

In this study, the verification of the Harshaw 6600 Plus TLD personal dosimetry system was made using the method of the IEC-61066 type tests and the recommendations of the ISO 4037 standards. For this purpose, five dosimeters were irradiated over a water phantom using an irradiator with a Cs-137 source; five dosimeters as control were also used. The evaluated parameters were homogeneity, detection limit, residual reading, linearity, reproducibility, droppings and temperature and humidity variations. The obtained results show that the Harshaw 6600 TLD dosimetric system fulfills the IEC 61066 criteria.
